Sharing the DJ booth with Carl Cox, Sven Vath and Richie Hawtin proved schooling enough for David Herrero who early in his career became the resident DJ at Privilege Ibiza. Since 2009 he has been getting serious international label attention with productions and remixes released on Stereo Productions, Viva Music, Defected and Vendetta Records as well as climbing the charts on Beatport.

9PM - Hector Romero (USA)

Summer 1983…a block party in the Bronx, NY is in full effect. A 13-year-old kid steps in front of the turntables and starts spinning a combination of Latin, house and hip hop. The crowd goes wild and quickly the neighbourhood nicknames the young kid ‘Baby Hec’ Romero. Taking some years to shed the nickname, Hector Romero now does double duty as both the label manager for SAW.RECORDINGS and by spinning around the world. Embarking on his 28th year as a DJ and key player in the industry, Romero describes himself as "a DJ with a musical identity crisis", but audiences know it's his diversity and eclectic tastes that set him apart from the rest.
